Stevan Gromet is the managing principal of Gromet & Associates. Mr. Gromet has been practicing real estate law in California for over 30 years, and presently focuses on representing sophisticated clients in real estate and business transactions and litigation matters. Mr. Gromet has represented clients in over $700 Million in real estate purchase, sale and finance transactions during the last real estate cycle, and also provides strategic litigation counseling and representation to firm clients on real estate/commercial litigation matters. Mr. Gromet prides himself on having established long term relationships with his clients, some of whom he has been representing his entire legal career.

CLIENT BASE
Mr. Gromet’s clients of the Firm include institutional investors and REITs based primarily in southern California, but with business interests that extend to Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Hawaii and Brazil. The firm also represents hotel and real property owners, investors and developers based in Hong Kong, Taiwan, London and the Middle East, with respect to their U.S./California business and investment activities.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND CHARITABLE SERVICE
- Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Laguna College of Art & Design (LCAD). LCAD is a 4-year accredited fine arts college and graduate school that has been a Laguna Beach institution for over 50 years. Mr. Gromet recently assisted LCAD in purchasing a new facility in Laguna Beach to house the College’s Masters in Fine Arts program, and oversees the College’s current strategic initiatives.
- Member, Board of Counselors (BOC) of Orange County’s Pacific Symphony Orchestra. The BOC studies major issues facing the Symphony and provides strategic input to the PSO’s Board of Directors; Mr. Gromet is Chair of BOC’s Membership Development Committee and is also a member of BOC’s Governing Committee.
- Member of Campaign Committee and pro-bono real estate counsel, Laguna Beach Seniors, Inc. (at the request of the Mayor of Laguna Beach and members of the Laguna Beach City Council). Mr. Gromet assisted Laguna Beach’s principal seniors organization in negotiating with the City of Laguna Beach a joint development and long term lease of the new “Suzy Q” Senior Center and the City’s community center (construction completed in January of 2009).
- Member, Board of Directors of Laguna Music Festival, a non-profit organization affiliated with the Orange County Philharmonic Society; sponsors unique classical and jazz music programs in Laguna Beach, involving nationally and internationally known artists, for both general public entertainment and for educational outreach within the Laguna Beach School system.
